Minsk, May 27, 2026 – On the sidelines of the Third Forum of the League of University Rectors of Russia, Belarus, and Brazil, and the Sixth Forum of the Association of Belarusian and Russian Universities, a strategic working meeting took place between BSTU Rector Serhei Kasperovich and NArFU Rector Mikhail Danilov.

During the meeting, Rector Kasperovich presented a comprehensive overview of BSTU academic and research profiles. Both leaders praised the current state of bilateral cooperation, emphasizing successful joint research projects, the active implementation of their Cooperation Roadmap, and strong, long-standing professional ties between the universities faculties.

NArFU Rector Mikhail Danilov proposed intensifying collaboration in high-potential areas, specifically focusing on forestry machinery and paper-making technologies. To further solidify these institutional ties, Rector Danilov extended an official invitation to Rector Kasperovich to visit the Northern (Arctic) Federal University.

BSTU Rector Serhei Kasperovich confirmed his commitment to expanding this partnership, noting that continued collaboration will unlock new milestones in both education and scientific research.
