On January 10, a delegation of Deyang Agricultural College (China) headed by Sun Yong, Executive President visited Belarusian State Technological University. The delegation came to explore the scope of BSTU educational programmes, in particular, bachelor and master programmes of forestry and IT profiles.
Andrei Sakovich, BSTU First Vice-Rector made a comprehensive overview of BSTU academic offer and shared details of the enrollment procedure for Chinese students graduating from DAC. Ihar Voitau, BSTU Rector emphasized the importance of collaboration with Chinese educational institutions and huge potential of the future partnership.
The delegation visited a number of student laboratories and classrooms of Forestry Faculty, Information Technology Faculty and Faculty of Forest Engineering, Materials Science and Design. The guests noted the advanced level of classroom and laboratory facilities which give students the opportunities to gain hands-on experience of their future profession.
The visit was wrapped up by signing of bilateral agreements outlining future cooperation in the field of training Chinese students at bachelor and master levels.
