On July 5, BSTU hosted a delegation of the Yaroslav-the-Wise Novgorod State University. During the meeting the parties made presentations of their educational programs and research capacity and exchanged views on their cooperation prospects.

In the follow-up of the discussions, the universities signed a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding outlining their cooperation intentions. The parties agreed to do research in various fields of mutual interest as well as to exchange best practices of teaching.
