On May 24–25, 2026, Ashgabat hosted the 25th International Exhibition and Conference, “White City Ashgabat 2026” (WCA 2026). Dedicated to the 145th anniversary of the capital city of Turkmenistan, the landmark event operated under the slogan “Architecture. Innovations. Sustainable Developmen”. The forum brought together over 180 companies and institutions from the construction, architecture, power engineering, and education sectors.

Leading Belarusian universities participated via a joint pavilion organized by the Ministry of Education. Belarusian State Technological University (BSTU) was represented by Elena Yanukovich, Head of the International Students and Double-Degree Programs Office.

During the event, Elena Yanukovich presented a comprehensive overview of BSTU academic programs and research profile. She consulted directly with prospective applicants and their parents, held strategic meetings with recruitment agencies, and established vital institutional ties with Turkmen educational centers that prepare high school graduates for studies in Belarus.

The WCA 2026 exhibition proved to be a highly effective platform for elevating BSTU prestige in the Turkmen educational market, securing new business partnerships, and promoting Belarusian higher education on a global scale.
