On May 29, 2026, Serhei Kasperovich, Rector of Belarusian State Technological University (BSTU), visited Bauman Moscow State Technical University (BMSTU) to hold strategic talks with university leadership. The discussions focused on key areas of academic partnership, including joint professional training, faculty internships, study visits, professional development, and collaborative research initiatives.

During his visit, Rector Kasperovich toured the Bauman campus, exploring the BaumanGoGreen cluster, the KAMAZ-BAUMAN education and research hub, and the Faculty of Computer Science and Control Systems.

Concluding the meeting, the rectors signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement and a bilateral roadmap for 2026–2027. This framework outlines concrete initiatives such as guest lecturing, summer schools, joint research projects, and scientific conferences. Additionally, both institutions agreed to explore future opportunities, including joint degree programs and the mutual exchange of teaching methodologies and research innovations.

This milestone agreement marks a significant step forward in strengthening academic and scientific ties between the two leading technical universities. By combining their expertise and resources, BSTU and BMSTU are well-positioned to drive innovation, elevate engineering education, and create valuable new opportunities for students and researchers alike.
