On July 30, 2026, Belarusian State Technological University (BSTU) hosted a graduation ceremony to award Master’s degrees to 32 students from China who successfully completed their postgraduate studies. BSTU Rector Serhei Kasperovich personally attended the event to congratulate the new degree holders.

During his address, the Rector highlighted the high quality of training provided by the leading technological university of Belarus. He assured the graduates that excellent career and employment prospects await them both in China and across the global labor market.

Among the 32 graduates, 20 completed the "3+1+1" double-degree program run jointly with Luoyang Vocational Technical Institute, while the remaining 12 students followed other specialized academic tracks. All 32 graduates successfully defended their Master's theses.

The innovative "3+1+1" program allows students to earn a Master’s degree within five years of study:

• First 3 years: Core studies in China.
• 4th year: Completion of Bachelor degree in Belarus.
• 5th year: Advanced postgraduate studies at BSTU to earn a Master's degree

For reference: BSTU has maintained a strong partnership with Luoyang Vocational Technical Institute since 2019. The double-degree programs span high-demand fields, including automation of technological processes, machines and apparatus of chemical production, and landscape architecture. The "3+1+1" track is highly popular with Chinese students for its seamless combination of solid theoretical knowledge and hands-on, practice-oriented training.
