Belarusian State Technological University took part in International Trade and Industry Fair held in Karachi (Pakistan) on March 08-13, 2023. Nikolai Gundilovich, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Glass and Ceramics Technology, joined the delegation of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus to represent BSTU at the remarkable event.

The University put a number of innovative research developments on display, including glass-ceramic proppants; sulfoaluminate modifier for non-shrinking and self-stressing cement concretes and mortars; oil sludge treatment technology; thermostable ceramic materials for thermal generating units; biocide-glazed ceramic tiles.  

Mr. Andrei Metelitsa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, attended the opening ceremony of the National Exposition of Belarus. The Exposition also drew attention of Mr. Kamran Tessori, Governor of Sindh province and Mr. Ilya Konoplev, Counsellor for Trade and Economic Affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The BSTU exposition caused keen interest of many Pakistani institutions, higher schools and businesses, many of which express their willingness to establish partnership with the University.
