BSTU at Belarusian-Uzbek Innovation Forum

On March 14-15, 2023 Belarusian National Technical University hosted Belarusian-Uzbek Innovation Forum.

 

The Forum agenda included Exhibition of Technological Advances “From Science to Innovative Entrepreneurship”. Belarusian State Technological University exhibited the following research developments:   

-      Paulownia plywood (by B.T. Jalalov, MSc student, O.K. Leonovich, associate professor)

-      Antiskid rubber (by K.V. Vishnevskiy, associate professor)

-      Production of low-emission plywood with improved physico-mechanical properties (by O.V. Konyakhina, MSc student, O.K. Leonovich, associate professor)

-      Materials for alternative energy (by Ya.Yu. Zhuravleva, PhD student, A.I. Klyndyuk, associate professor)

-      High-value cocoa-containing product from cocoa bean waste for food and confectionery industry (by V.I. Khinevich, D.Sc. (Agriculture))

-      Thermostable ceramic materials for industrial unit lining (by A.S. Samsonova, PhD student, R.Yu. Popov, associate professor)

-      Ceramic materials for 3D printing (by A.D. Podsosonnaya, PhD student, A.N. Shimanskaya, associate professor).

Economic Engineering Faculty students, members of the EconoMix Student Club were in charge of promotion of the BSTU developments. They prepared appealing promotional presentations to make sure the visitors get a comprehensive insight into the products.   

The Forum also featured Applied Research Conference “Belarus-Uzbekistan: Innovation Product Market Development”. BSTU scholars presented a number of reports about their latest research developments.

 

The Forum served as an effective networking platform for Belarusian and Uzbek academic staff and afforded them great opportunities to share their best practices of teaching and research.
