BSTU and VSUFT Solidify Partnership in Forestry Education and Climate Research

On June 29, 2026, Serhei Kasperovich, Rector of Belarusian State Technological University (BSTU), participated in a high-level online conference hosted by the Voronezh State University of Forestry and Technologies, named after G.F. Morozov (VSUFT).

In his welcoming speech, Serhei Kasperovich emphasized that such conferences are invaluable for exchanging best practices and establishing new pathways for academic cooperation. The international summit focused on addressing the global challenges of the climate agenda, shaping innovative initiatives, and outlining promising project ideas.

Capitalizing on the momentum, BSTU and VSUFT signed a comprehensive bilateral partnership agreement. This official pact formalizes a shared commitment to long-term cooperation in forestry education and advanced scientific research.

This newly established agreement marks a significant milestone in the partnership between BSTU and VSUFT. By combining their institutional expertise, both universities are well-positioned to drive impactful research and cultivate the next generation of forestry professionals. Moving forward, this collaboration will not only strengthen academic ties but also contribute practical, science-backed solutions to the global climate agenda.
