September 19, 2017 BSTU visited the delegation of Kunming University of Science and Technology (Yunnan Province, China), led by Professor of Biological and Medical Sciences Yang Wei Dong. During the visit the rector of BSTU Ihar Voitau acquainted the guests with the main directions of the university activity, educational programs and scientific directions.
The guests presented brief information about the Kunming University of Science and Technology, its faculties, bachelor's, master's and postgraduate programs, and opportunities for Belarusian students.
First Pro-Rector Aliaksandr Tsyhanau suggested that the Chinese delegation develop a roadmap for cooperation and reflect in it all possible directions and forms of joint activities, including the implementation of academic exchanges, joint educational programs on the "2 + 2" system, joint research, the exchange of teachers Russian and Chinese, etc.
At the end of the visit, the guests visited a number of laboratories of the Department of Biotechnology and Bioecology and the Center for Physical and Chemical Research Methods.
