In the period from May 22 to 26, 2018, a delegation from the Tashkent Chemical Technology Institute visited the BSTU as part of the Vice-rector for Academic Affairs Safar Toir Tursunovich and Associate Professor of the pulp and wood processing department Khabibullayev Rashid Azamatovich.

Within the framework of the meeting, our Uzbek colleagues visited the departments and divisions of the university they are interested in: the Department of Chemical Processing of Wood, Polymer Composite Materials, Glass and Ceramics Technologies, Woodworking Technologies, Woodworking Machinery and Tools, and the Center for Physical and Chemical Research Methods and the Exhibition Hall of the BSTU.

During the negotiations, the models of the organization of the joint master's educational program, the conditions for organizing academic mobility, as well as the goals and objectives of the internship of the teaching staff were considered.

The curricula of the magistracy in the 1 + 1 system have been agreed upon, with the issuance of a double diploma in four specialties: - Technology of wood processing and wood science; - Technology of silicate and refractory nonmetallic materials; - Processes and apparatus of chemical technology; - Chemical technology of inorganic substances. A set of these specialties will already take place at the CTaIF in the 2018/2019 school year.

In addition, our foreign colleagues expressed a desire to develop joint training programs in the future on the training of personnel in the field of chemical technology of organic and inorganic substances, woodworking and pulp and paper, microbiological, petrochemical industries and the production of building materials, as well as the design of technological processes.
