October 19, 2017 BSTU visited Deputy Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Belarus Mr. G. Eskandari.
During the meeting with the rector Ihar Voitau topical issues of cooperation of the BSTU with universities and scientific organizations of Iran, including the University of Hajj Nassirodin Tusi, the University of Technology of Amirkabir, the Scientific Research Institute of Polymers and Petroleum Engineering were discussed. Ihar Voitau noted that our university is ready to offer cooperation in a wide range of areas: the petrochemistry, new materials, biotechnology, the preparation of Iranian citizens at all levels of instruction and asked the Embassy to provide maximum assistance in the implementation of this cooperation.
For his part, the First Deputy Ambassador noted that cooperation with BSTU is of undoubted interest for the Iranian organizations and assured that the Embassy will render all possible assistance in the development of it. At the end of the meeting the leadership of BSTU was given an invitation to take part in the 5th international exhibition of innovations and technologies RINOTEX-2017, which will be held in Tabriz in November 2017.
