On September 1, Ms. Kezban Nilvana Darama, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Belarus, visited the University. 
The delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in the Republic of Belarus visited the branch of BSTU “Negorelsky Experimental Forestry Enterprise” and got acquainted with its material and technical and laboratory facilities. The members of the delegation were shown a forest nursery, woodworking workshop, educational buildings. 
The Turkish guests were impressed by a visit to our unique botanical garden and the original ecological trail “The Tale of the Negorel Forest”, where they were able to familiarize themselves not only with the plant world, but also with the ethnic culture and mythology of the Belarusian people.
During the meeting, such priority issues as the development of educational and scientific cooperation with Turkish universities were also discussed, namely, the upcoming visit of the Rector of BSTU Voitau I.V. and First Vice-Rector Tsyhanau A.R. to the Republic of Turkey, during which meetings with the leadership of the University of Marmara (Istanbul) and Ataturk University (Erzurum), as well as with the directors of Turkish consulting agencies on attracting Turkish citizens to study at BSTU are scheduled.
