May 17 Belarusian State Technological University was visited by the delegation of the Republic of Cuba headed by Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Environment of the Republic of Cuba Danilo Alonso Mederos, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Belarus Juan Valdes Figueroa, Director of Center for Applied Technologies and Nuclear Development Angelina Diaz Garcia, consultant of the International Relations Department of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment of the Republic of Cuba Carlos Mendez Garcia, GEOCUBA Raoul Alvarez Soler, Director of the Institute of Geophysics and Astronomy Martha Rosa Rodriguez Uracuka, Project Manager of the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology of Camagüey Rolando Morand Valdivia, Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in the Republic of Belarus Saturnino Juan de la Grana Henriques, Assistant to the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Belarus Karina Vladimirovna Luzhkova, translator Raul Alberto Abreu Montiel, accompanying Ilya Popov and Ekaterina Nikolaevna Skuratovich.


The guests have been acquainted with the laboratories of the Department of Biotechnology and the Biochemistry and the Center for Physical and Chemical Methods of Research, their equipment and conducting training courses for specialists.
