On June 4, 2018, the first pro-rector, Academician Aliaksandr Tsyhanau met with the pro-rector for development strategy, educational and social work Arman Akishev and dean of the faculty of chemical technologies and natural sciences Kanat Akhmetov of S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University (Republic of Kazakhstan) in BSTU.
Issues of creating a joint educational program in the field of chemical technologies for the 2 + 2 system were discussed. The first two years students will study in Pavlodar, then the remaining two years - in BSTU. It is planned to issue double diplomas. At present, the parties are discussing issues on the coordination of the curriculum of the program and the procedure for signing the treaty. The first set of students is planned already in the 2018th academic year.
