Within the framework of the visit of the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Sudan to the Republic of Belarus, a meeting of the Sudanese delegation took place, which included the Director General of the Department of International Relations, Tarig Mohamed Nur Ali; general manager of the department of accreditation and quality of education Yusif Hassan Abdelrahim Mohamed Ahmed; Vice Chancellors of the Universities of Kassala, Bahri and Elnilian, with the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Belarusian State Technological University Andrey Sakovich, Deans of the Faculties, Heads of Chairs and Heads of Scientific Centers. 

The guests were shown the educational and scientific activities of the BSTU, acquainted with the material and technical base of the university and the research work of the university. The Sudanese party expressed interest in developing contacts on the development of academic mobility, including the exchange of students and teachers between the BSTU and the Sudanese universities, internships for undergraduates and graduate students, as well as joint research.
As a result of the visit, bilateral agreements were signed between BSTU and three leading Sudanese universities (Kassala, Bahri and Elnilian), which envisage the development of joint educational and scientific programs between universities, the exchange of students, intensive internships for undergraduates and postgraduate students, as well as a number of practical studies, including geodesy and oil refining.
