During the International Water Forum, agreements were signed with the leading Russian universities:
- Tripartite Agreement on Cooperation between the Russian State Geological Prospecting University S. Ordzhonikidze, St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design and BSTU in the field of water resources restoration and management in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Minsk.
- The agreement on cooperation between BSTU and St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design in the field of joint programs of scientific research and technical development, the organization of the educational process.
Within the framework of the tripartite agreement, the project "Water necklace of cities" is planned. The agreement provides for the conduct of environmental assessments, as well as the development of the most appropriate technical solutions to improve the environmental situation of small urban rivers, including their coastal zone. One of the goals of this project is to improve recreational areas around water areas, which undoubtedly should lead to an improvement in the quality of life in the city.
