Total volume of output of innovative products in Belarus to exceed 7 billion Belarusian rubles up to 2020

The total volume of the output of innovative products in Belarus will exceed 7 billion Belarusian rubles in the period up to 2020 in accordance with the state scientific-technical programs. This was announced by Alexander Shumilin, the Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, at the press conference on “Science Year in Belarus”,  BelTA learnt. According to Alexander Shumilin, the quarter of the manufactured innovative products will be exported. 17 state scientific-technical programs were formed for a long-term period. ‘More than 1,200 innovations including more than 350 car item names, not less than 40 material and matter item names, 209 technological processes, more than 180 automated systems and complexes, not less than 60 breeds of plants and animals and not less than 40 medicines are expected to be created within these programs by 2020,’ Alexander Shumilin said.
