The 4th Eastern Partnership Panel on Research and Innovation took place in Brussels
On 14 December, the 4th Eastern Partnership Panel on Research and Innovation took place in Brussels, an event chaired by DG Research and Innovation, which is part of the Eastern Partnership Platform 4 on people to people contacts.
The Panel gathered more than 60 research and innovation experts representing the six Eastern Partnership countries, Member States, EU services, and EU organisations facilitating cooperation between the EU and its neighbouring countries.
The meeting focused on the Horizon 2020 Programme, progress since the last Panel meeting in 2015, including the new EU4Innovation initiative, and cooperation on e-infrastructures. The participants also discussed synergies with Platform 3, in particular the energy efficiency domain.
